  4. Great news. I’m updating it just before I set of travelling – so was worried it was gonna be a Nano-free trip. Thanks

  5. Likewise, Googled this page and it worked like a charm!

Despite just trying it for the hell of it, the first step seems unecessary. I’ll trying skipping it next time the poor thing crashes.

  6. Yeah, i dont think it helps too much if you have a full on crash, but sometimes it can save a minor crash.

  15. Sounds like its a bit more broken than jsut crashed smithy, all i can suggest is try plugging it into the pc/mac and letting it charge up for a while, either that or take it back to the shop and get a refund.

  31. My Ipod Nano is not turning on. I have tried to restore it and reset it and nothing happens. first i get the apple in the window, then a screen comes on and in that screen there is a folder and http://www.apple.com/support/ipod. Then it shuts off. that sums up what the Ipod Nano is doing. How do i get it to come on??? Getting frustrated here.

  33. As the link doesnt seem to work. i’d suggest trying to flick your hold button on then off then on then off and then holding down middle button and menu button. Repeat if needed

  51. Right, had my iPod Nano 2nd generation for about a few months now, and i’ve just pressed the middle button to play a song, and where the menu changes to the song name and art, it’s frozen in between and now i have no way of getting it to work. it won’t play, the screen has remained the same, it won’t turn off, and when i plug it into the PC it doesn’t show up on iTunes

I am extremely stuck lol. Any advice anyone?
