UNITED CREATIONZ

with 18 comments

United creationz is an MP3, but no ordinary mp3, its over 1 hour and 10 mins long and contains samples from 81 different songs!

Musically this is the most varied “song” ever, although it more of a track, each song from the list below is beautifully mixed into the next, different styles and tastes all together in one track, this is what MP3s are for!

Its completely free to download so i urge you to, but at 70mb – 1 whole cd,its kind of hefty.

The DJ, Bobby O’ Donnell, describes it as “23 years worth of musical love”

  1. If you like this, try looking for “Intro Inspection” by Osymyso. SImilar concept, using the intro part from around 80+ tracks… should be on a diresputable source of MP3s near you somewhere ;-) [Hint – remember that FTP site you were on yesterday)

  2. […] Another thing that i noticed without really meaning to is the excellent way songbird handles online music, i played the 70mb mp3 i posted about yesterday through songbird and was able to jump to anyway where in the song and within less than a second it was playing from that part of the song, i dont know this has been included in any other media players but i was very impressed with the smoothness of it, it didnt seem like i was streaming it from the net at all. […]

  3. quite cool, i didn’t know many of the songs though :D

btw, 70mb = 1/10 of a cd… lucky coz i’m on dialup and i think it would melt then laugh at me if i clicked on a 700mb link :D

  6. I think he meant 70 mins not 70mb… 70 mins is an audio CD length

  7. If you rip a CD onto your pc, say using iTunes, into mp3s then it will come out to be about 70mb if its a Full CD.

Thats what i ment by it, im sure if you uncompressed the traack it would be about 700mb in .wav form

  8. […] Anyhoo, He has posted about an MP3 that takes 80 different tracks and puts them all into one 80 tune. Nothing special you might think, Dance DJs have been doing it for years. Yeah, ok, Expect that the tunes he has mixed for this version are NOT all dance tracks. You can read Atariboy’s post about it here which gives the full tracklist and a direct link to the MP3 is here Site Search Tags: channel+4 MP3 music The+IT+Crowd TVTechnorati Tags: channel+4, MP3, music, The+IT+Crowd, TV   […]
